SATISFACTION IN COMPLETION

Isn’t it a wonderful thing to bring a project to completion?  It is for me.  I have been working on a couple of two page scrapbook pages for several months now and finally have them all the way done.  Before this I had only done one page at a time.  It has been fun putting two coordinating pages together.  Here are the results.

First are two pics from our 4th of July celebration with my husband’s family.

Next, you saw the first one in my last post, but I am including it again, so you can see the two pages together.  This is from Memorial Day at my parents’ home.  Included are our nieces, Chetta, and JP in the fishing pics.

I have been working steadily on the baby blanket that I am knitting.  It is about 2/3’s finished now.  I will also add some fringe when the knitting is all completed.  This is a great project to have while at piano lessons, dog classes, etc…

Verse of the Day

Here is a different kind of completion.  One that only had to be competed once, and could only be completed by the Savior of the world, Jesus Christ.

~ John 19:30 ~

Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!”  And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.

~ Blessings ~

you are so creative.  i love your pages and i love your knitting project.  i too keep a kniting project with me at all times for the little "waits" in the day to day.  in fact, i have taken to knitting in the back row at church as i find i concentrate better if i do, and now thee are several women doing the same.  no word yet from the pastor as to how he feels about it all. lol  we are referring to ourselves as "the church ladies back row knitting guild"

Your scrapbook pages look so nice -- I haven't ventured there yet -- I always have one or two projects going - sewing, knitting, crocheting, painting, etc.  Your baby blanket looks very nice.

Those are fabulous pages and the baby blanket is Bee-u-tiful!!

I'm not particularly fond of snow but I know we need the moisture in any fashion we can get.  plus I hope we get more for Samantha's sake, it would be great to get a whole yard full! lol...definitely not something you would caught me saying a few years ago

lots of smiles to you!

:penflip The new vac is working great!  It works so much better than my old one ever did.  It's one of those bagless types, my first one like that, so you can see how much dirt is actually in your carpet (it's a bit disgusting in a way, but nice to know the vacuum actually deep cleans).

I love your new scrapbook pages.  Very pretty designs!  And the baby blanket is beautiful.  You are so talented.

Oh those scrapbook pages are so cute! You did a great job on them. =)

I've been doing a lot of scrapbooking lately b/c I'm trying to complete one whole scrapbook before my graduation in May.  I want to be able to set it out on my display table at the graduation reception.  So, I have a lot of work I need to do on it though!

The blanket it beautiful! You did an awesome job knitting it. =)

Hope you're having a wonderful Sunday!

Love, Michelle
